16 December 2006 - Contact Music reports that "JULIAN LENNON refused to attend the premiere of his new documentary-style film - because of society's obsession with celebrity. Lennon, the 43-year-old son of late BEATLES legend JOHN LENNON, stunned audiences expecting to see him at the Monaco Film Festival screening earlier this week (begs11DEC06). A source tells British newspaper the Daily Telegraph, "Everyone waited for Julian to turn up at the showing of THE GATHERING: RETURN OF THE WHALE DREAMERS, which attacks the Japanese whale industry, but there was no sign of him. 12 June 2009 - A new exhibition "White Feather: The Spirit of John Lennon" was been launched at Liverpool's Beatles Story museums. "White Feather" will run from 17th June - 31st December.
